Course Description

Become a Level 1 Certified Running Gait Analyst!

This course provides the skills to master analyzing and re-training a runner’s gait. The five most common running gait impairments will be covered, and participants will have the chance to use the latest in 3D technology to analyze form and learn advanced methods for gait re-training.

This 2 day course begins by covering the ACE Running Movement Screen designed specifically for runners to pick up on the most common running related impairments. Next, we dive into each of the five running impairments and identify the reasons runners change their form and how to fix it.

Throughout the course participants will do live case studies using 3D motion analysis to identify running impairments and practicing techniques for gait re-training.
If you want to be the “Go-To” running professional, this is the course for you!

Please note there is a pre-requisite for this course. You must complete the Essential Elements of Running Course prior to attending. The Essential Elements can be taken as an independent course, and provides an in depth look at running biomechanics that is essential for the advanced concepts discussed in Level 1. If you have taken the online component,  please contact us at admin@LearnWithACE.com for instructions on a discount for the live portion.
